We are a family of faith, who meet together for teaching, for worship, for prayer and for encouragement. We desire to be outward looking and to serve our local community through both our care for others and our sharing of the good news of Jesus Christ.

There are no rules at all about where you sit or how you dress or how much you need to understand about the Christian faith. We are a lively evangelical church just south of the river in Bedford. We are part of the diocese of St Alban's and affiliated to the New Wine network of churches.

We have two church centres each with their own style of service but with one mission; to show love, give hope and bring peace to our parish and the wider town of Bedford.

St Andrew, Bedford

St Andrew’s Church is a beautiful place of Christian Worship.

 

From the reflective recitation of psalms at daily Morning and Evening Prayer, to the exuberant sounds of song led by the Worship Band, to the complexities of four-part anthems sung at Choral Evensong, St Andrew’s offers worship in many different styles and traditions.

The congregation at St Martin’s is well known for its welcome and hospitality. It has been the spiritual home for many who have left their own countries seeking new opportunities in England: having welcomed worshippers from the West Indies and Africa and more recently from Brazil, Portugal and Asia.

St. Mary the Virgin is the parish Church of Goldington in the borough of Bedford. We are at the heart of the community it serves, showing and sharing God’s love for everyone.

 

We give a warm welcome to all those we meet through varied worship and social activities which are open to all to join. Our doors are open at all focal events in our lives, from celebratory times to reflective times, and all those in between.

There has been a Christian church on the site of St. Peter’s for more than a thousand years, and in the 21st century the current church community still exists to serve the society around us and to offer opportunities for worship, for quiet meditation, for the exploration of spirituality and faith and for fellowship.

We are a church that seeks to serve the community, bringing the good news of Jesus Christ and his love.

Our Family Service is usually on the third Sunday of the month.

St Nicholas, Hulcote

St Nicholas Church, Hulcote, is a delightful church set back from the road in a field.

Services are usually BCP Holy Communion on the fourth Sunday of each month.

 

Due to location the service is weather dependent and will be transferred to Salford after heavy rains.

St Mary's, Wootton

We are a friendly, evangelical, Anglican church in the village of Wootton near Bedford.

We meet twice on a Sunday with services to suit all ages! Our aim is to know Jesus and make Jesus known to the people of Wootton and beyond.

We'd be delighted to welcome you on Sundays and to our midweek events.

St Michael & All Angels, Bedford

St. Michael and All Angels Parish Church is at the heart of the Kingsbrook Community, Bedford. It serves everyone and provides a warm welcome to newcomers.

Refreshements are served after each service.

Families, children and babies are  most welcome at all services.
